Carters & related families in the records of the Overseers of the Fauquier County Poor House

Bonnie has the microfilm with the poor house records from the 1820 -  1840's.

This is what she has found so far:

Sally Carter received 2 dresses, 1 shirt, 1 hankerchief, 1 apron & 1 bonnet on Jan 30 1821.

K (or B) ittie Carter received 3 dresses, 2 shirts, 1 pair of shoes and a bonnet about the same time. Is this a daughter of Isaac that we don't know about?

10th of Sept 1835 Elijah Redmond (out) to Richard Rixie

John Dennis deceased Dec 14, 1820

On the 22 Dec 1820 James Carter received 2 shirts and 1 pair of shoes and what looks like 1 pantaloons (?)

James Dennis received 1 coat, 1 shirt, 1 pair of shoes and what looks like 1 pantaloons (?) between 1820

and 1821.

James R Carter was born Mar 17, 1821 and received 1 coat & 1 shirt

George W Carter received 1 coat, 3 shirts, 1 pair of shoes and what looks like 1 pantaloons (?) between 1820 - 1821
